Youth Vanguard Program (YVP)

The Youth Vanguard Program (YVP) is a rites of passage curriculum consisting of media arts, etiquette and self-awareness classes for youth (ages 10-18). Through training in film, television, still photography, social etiquette, African history and more, youth will be well equipped to transcend the challenging life transition of adolescence with a sequence of self discovery, self empowerment and confidence building workshops. Planned trips to the theatre and other events are also included. The YVP facilitates a culminating sense of self-empowerment and self-determination for young people. We will prepare our youth to be leaders, achievers and independent thinking individuals.

We believe that every child should have an opportunity to discover their talents, goals and ambitions; therefore, the program is open to all young people.
